Textease in South Gloucestershire

My friend James Watson, Softease Sales Consultant for the South West, came along to a session I did on Multimodality for a group of teachers in South Gloucestershire. He spent his time videoing me doing 'my thing'.

The notes for the session can be found here

Sadly your video is broken up and difficult to understand, also poor sound quality, when it comes down by broadband connection so I stopped watching/listening.

Thought youd'd value feedback. I'd appreciate similar comments on my videos.

Still would like to know how you put videos on your blog but then there are always ways round a problem!

Hi Geoff, this is James who shot the video. If it is broken up then that sounds like an issue with your connection (either at your end or with Google Video itself).

Take my advice and don't try and edit hi-definition video on a normal pc! You need a super-powered machine and special software. The next video (coming soon) will be normal DV and easier to edit.

As they say, this is an example of 'doing your learning in public'!
